CÉSAR HENAO

César Henao is a French artist of Colombian origin. He began his artistic practice and his first paintings as a self-taught artist at the age of 16. Influenced by the Optical Art movement, he continued his training at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. 
He has participated in several group exhibitions, co-founded the Polystructure group and met the most important post-war art critic in France, Pierre Restany, who wrote about his work.  At the end of his studies, a jury chaired by the Belgian kinetic sculptor Pol Bury will award him his diploma with the highest distinction unanimously awarded by this institution.
He has exhibited through numerous galleries around the world.
Today it  exhibits at Nartex in Vaison-la-Romaine.  His recent work approaches the space of aesthetic representation in the work from the concept of singularity.
